These American-style pickled cucumbers, a bit like gherkins, are great for barbecues and burgers but are also good enough to eat straight from the jar. Cucumbers absorb other flavours really well so they are the perfect ingredients to pair with our local craft beer from our very own town of Moama along the Murray River. We have gone with a Spicy hop filled Pale Ale from 1710 Brew Co. which as it is brewed along the banks of the Murray River we have dubbed the Murray Pale Ale. The hoppy taste complements perfectly the peppercorns, chilli flakes, mustard seeds and apple cider vinegar brine to make these pickles simply irresistible.
Perfect to eat with a grilled cheese toastie, mixed through a potato salad with bacon, in a burger or with cheese and crackers at your next outdoors shindig! The only trouble will be stopping once you have started!
As with all our products, this is Gluten Free and Vegan. We are All Natural and use no added artificial preservatives, colouring or additives. Our preserves are made fresh with seasonal fruit, low sugar and have a best before of one year; just best to keep in the fridge after opening. We find these products taste so fresh and great that most people will consume them within a month or two. For some though it can be even quicker :-)
